Good results!

Were you not scared of the car jumping off the dyno with that amount of movement?!

Hi Mate...

tried a few different manifolds, but none of them drive nowhere near as good as the standard inlet manifold!

Hi Nathan,

Cheers mate!

It was pretty solid to be honest! That dyno sees over 800/900BHP supercharged and twin turbo'd Monaro's regularly, so whats 700 8)

Thanks.

Yup all on Shell V-Power.

I was only expecting around 550BHP! But as soon Dave Rowe did the initial run just off the wastegate (1 bar of boost), he said its gonna make 600+ all day long! He weren't wrong!

It was quite bizzare though, cos Dave did mention that the engine can seem to taking alot of ignition timing on V-Power compared to all the other MR2s he's mapped, hence the power figures!

Yup it will do at some point.

Turbo-wise it started as a GT35R with 0.63 A/R housing, but it lacked top end, so we switched it to the 0.82 A/R housing and had some custom porting/wheel work done. Exact spec even i don't know 8) .

We ran 31psi through it and the engine just ate the turbo alive!

Hi Dan,

cheers!

Yeah, running a chargecooler! We started with the Davies Craig pump, but it just couldn't flow the volume, so we went with a pair of these:

Cheers

Were using the Yokohama A048Rs 235/45/17 profiles. So far they hook up very well with 29psi tyre pressure on the rears. There a similar tyre to the R888. I've had the R888s on my Evo and i've noticed they go off alot quicker then the A048Rs.
