FINALLY - 720 BHP / 565 LB-FT

Post by V8Killer »

After around 4 years of ups and downs. umming and ahhing, crazy money, etc etc, the day finally came.

Want to thank John Edwards @ Jems Racing Engineering, for building a bullet proof engine, Dave Rowe @ EPS Motorsport for the mapping, Bob @ Concept Racing for building me the best chargecooler in the world, Rogue Motorsport for suspension work and wiring the Racelogic TC and gauges, Adrian @ Fensport for parts, Dino Micouris for all the general advice and chit chat!

Car is just like any other car until you up the boost with this funny looking trim switch and it begins to spit flames, make all these funny noises, etc etc!

We had a bit of compressor surge at 31psi, hence the dips, but the engine just ate up whatever the turbo threw at it with ease. Need some porting done on the turbo to overcome this, then back for another map and a race fuel map!

Enjoy!

Cheers Andy.

Coming to think of it, its been around 5-6 years i think! A few times i totally lost interest. Didn't have the time to dedicate to it, but then you get days like this where everything just goes to plan and you forget the past!

I still can't believe how civil it drives, knowing it is capable of 700BHP!

Will get some pics / vids up shortly!

Jeez, I've been waiting years for this, can I log off and stop clicking F5 all the time now? ;)

Good to hear it's finally come together with the results it always promised, looking forward to seeing it used in anger now.
