Found him on Ebay but he only has an Evo 8 Lip listed at the moment. I like how he says "Guaranteed Fitment", "No Adjustments needed", "100% Perfect" etc Then at the bottom he has the good old cover your ass incase it doesnt fit bit -

Before you bid or buy, please understand that these are handmade composite auto body parts, while they are specifically designed for the vehicle stated in the auction, they may need slight modification. This is the nature of aftermarket composite parts, and this is why we recommend you have them installed by a body shop with experience installing composite body parts, We understand that many of our customers are do-it-yourselfer's, and we are more than happy to offer technical support, but this work is best left to the pros.... not self proclaimed pro's, but real pros with experience.

But he does say he will give you a refund if it doesnt fit :)

Mbland wrote:lol any good body shop should get these crap fitting kits to fit nicely with out spending a fortune definitely still less than original stuff, there was a 2nd hand original kit on here somewhere before and it was up for £1200 iirc.. so about £900 more than a ebay copy now if a bodyshop cant get it to fit nicely alot less than £900 then theres something seriously wrong lol.. Cant understand why people keep saying go for original as the price for original is ridiculous and once its fitted alongside a nicely fitted copy no one would know

That was me who purchased that genuine kit, and i did not pay anywhere near £1200 for it!! It is the best kit i have ever brought for any car ever!

What you have to remember is, you may get a copy kit for £500 or so but after you add on the labour costs from the bodyshop for making the adjustments to fit, you are going to get close to the price of a 2nd hand genuine kit anyway! And on top of that you have to hope they do a good job. So many cowboy, bodge job bodyshops around nowadays!

Not yet , The 2 is down at my parents place in Dorset, however i recieved it with the mesh grille all bent up so it's not looking to hopeful for a straightforward fit, but what do i expect for just over a 100 quid lol.

I thought I heard somewhere that Styling FX closed down a while back ... ?

I got a Border front off them a few years back for my last 2 and fit was great.

Starting to make some progress now, i've got the front bumper provisionally on, the indicators all marked out holes cut and in, and have been doing abit of fibreglassing in places.
How does anyone with the whole kit find jacking it ? looks like clearance with a normal trolley jack might be an issue ?
