Re: Me vs M3 Conv.

I'm sure the 0-60 of the convertible is around the 5.4/5.6 mark. Cannon fodder even for a standard tubby. I've toasted loads, much to the drivers upset both standing starts and in 2nd/3rd gear. The coupe though has a 0-60 of around 4.8 so a bit more of a challenge.

Re: Beware the damp roundabouts!

Looks like I've opened a can of worms here!! I'm getting better now though (thanks for asking) got my body brace off and even went swimming last night! I totally accept that by posting this on a public forum I can get views either way. It was only meant as a warning to others that things DO go wrong...

Re: Beware the damp roundabouts!

All I was doing was taking him for a quick ride. Yes I was driving hard to show him what it can do. As I said before, 11 months and I hadn't even had so much as a twitch from the car, I always drove it with respect as I know what they are like. Pair that to 7 years of accident free driving and I do...

Re: Nisan Pulsar Turbo

My mate used to have a Pulsar GtiR. He was running over 300bhp with water injection, bigger intercooler and 1.2bar of boost. It was flippin quick. My tubby only just started to pull away at top end revs in 3rd. Bit of a shed and things kept going wrong so it had to go.

Cheers for the comments/good wishes guys, I'm making a good recovery and I know it could have been a lot worse. I've got someone watching over me  No offence mate but don't you think it was a bit stupid doing stuff like that with your cousin in the car ffs?!? I'm glad you're "ok" alt...

Beware the damp roundabouts!

Haven't been on here a while but thought I'd share a little story. Christmas Day, had dinner etc. my cousin was round and hadn't been out in my car before so I said we'll go for a quick blast around some nearby roads. Coming off a roundabout I must have given it a bit too much right foot and ended u...

Re: mr2 vs m3

I ate an 2003 M3 convertible for breakfast the other day. Coming off some lights on a dual carriageway. I had a terrible start and he immediately had a car length on me. By the time I was in 3rd it was all over. I looked across smiled then blew him away.
