Agreed. Can stick it on an engine stand and makes everything nice and easy. Removing and installing an engine on an SW20 isn't too bad even on a driveway. Use an engine hoist to lift the whole car up off the engine and slide the engine out. yeah seen a few vids on youtube folk doing that..time to p...

The crank can be removed with the engine in place but by the time you have removed gearbox, clutch, rear main oil seal, then cam belt and oil pump struggling with it in place. I'd say much easier with the engine removed and you can address any other issues you come across along the way. thanks for ...

this is the first time they have failed in 4 years. The mot guy said the pin is missing to secure the lines into place. Not sure which code it failed on 2.d, maybe?. They are secured in place not hanging or anything, but just this pin issue?

MOT test in N.I. is same test as rest of UK except: 1.) that tests can only be carried out by the ministry in their locations, so there is only a very limited number of locations that you can go for a test. 2.) You are required to display the MOT on the windscreen. Neither of which cover the tester...
