hi all, was thinkg about getting a rev 1 n/a, the guy i was getting it from put it through an mot. there was an advisey note on it saying it will need anti roll bar bushes doing all round and front suspension arms replaceing soon. is this a big job ?, will it cost me much to do.? cheers for any repl...

me too. lovely car, ive had an mr2 before , love em, got a pug 1.4 on a 2000 plate . very cheap to run but boring. lol.
need another toyota, mr2 or another celica.

never drove an mr2 auto, only with gears mate n/a and turbo , more fun , but i also would like to hear from those that have had autos.

just a quick update,. mine has started every morning since ive done my ht leads, touch wood.
im waiting until there is a really cold morning or misty morning to put it to the test.

mine is the same mate. just been taking my roof off to keep cool in the sun, might get it fixed. sounds like a lot of cash to spend though.

for some reason when i deactivate my alarm which operates the central locking , the left hand side indicators stick on. not every time though. so when am driving along i have my indicators stuck on,not flashing. the other side works fine. if i turn the car off it stays on. if i then activate the ala...

there is plenty of fuel getting in, cos when i do get it started there is loads of un burnt fuel comming out of the exhaust. and i have tried to start it then left it then gone back with no luck. cheers

Well got my leads,had them on for 2 days now. starting fine but we havnt had a cold morning to put it to the test. ht leads cost £35. il let you"s know how i get on when its cold

hi mate. i paid £220 for a good service and a cambelt change and fitted a o2 sensor that i got , at tony simpsons in darlington.hope that helps.

there is plenty of power in the battery,sometimes if i turn the key,and let it turn for about 20 secounds it can start, if i then rev it to burn of all the fuel,then turn it off, then it will fire up first time.
were did you get your 40 quid leads from.

no . the leads are the only thing i havnt done.they look ok that was all.
is the king lead the one in the middle of the cap. can you just by that one .

been to see some who knows a lot on toyotas, he recomended me to change my coil pack, as they can cause probs.
I guess this is a toyota part only?? maybe try a second hand one.
