[Mk2] [NA] Cambelt Time...Where (North East)

Well my its coming round the time where my Minster needs her cambelt doing I rather get it done sooner than later.... just stuck on where to get it done been to Toyota and they wanted £435 which I thought was a bit outrageous so I spoke to a local garage that had a little experience of mr2’s he said £250 - £300. I also spoke to Mr Woodsport of Durham but he doesn’t do cambelts and stuff like that anymore and he’s well booked up with engine conversations :cry:

Pitty would like my car to be in hands of people that are very experienced with mr2's so I am just wondering mr2 owner of the north east where you get yours done and how much would be a great help.

How about Peter at sBits in Barnsley? Certainly wouldn't be more than £175.

hi mate. i paid £220 for a good service and a cambelt change and fitted a o2 sensor that i got , at tony simpsons in darlington.hope that helps. :thumleft:

This is all good news - I'm leaving sunny Coventry and moving to Newcastle at the end of May. My 2 is very much a work in progress so I'm pleased to see there'll be plenty of support around there. :thumleft:

Now, can any of you make the weather up there a bit bloody warmer? :whistle:
