mine are ok (refurbish-able)
You can get them from amazon.com for less than a fiver but they won't shop to the UK

I'm in the process of rebuilding my suspension including all ball joints and bushes. Due to extortionate prices for the OEM rear outer track rod ends, I hunted for alternatives. I stumbled across the TREs from a 1978-1986 Vauxhaul Carlton... and they are a perfect fit! They don't have the tab at the...

i take it the later ARBs are slightly more girthy?
my rear ARB is rather rusty and very thin anyway- is it possible to replace with a m1b bar?

Can someone please clarify whether full bush kits are universal.
I.e. can I buy a polybush kit (eg superpro) that says its for 87-89 cars and it'll fit my mk1a? I can't seem to find a full kit for an early car.
