Re: [Mk2] [NA] Fitting aftermarket manifold with the engine in

I'll probably do that then, thanks guys, it will save me money which is a bonus, the car only cost me £200 so I didn't want to be spending more on the manifold than the car

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Fitting aftermarket manifold with the engine in

Yes it's the exhaust manifold, the car came with a Decat Backbox but the manifold is still original. I've yet to look for one yet, what brands are recommended? I'm not really into buying an unbranded one unless it's custom made! Also, is it just a case of unbolting it then and bolting the new one in...

Is it even possible as don't want to attempt it myself if it isn't... Looks relatively hard to do so any help or pointe...

Re: any danger associated with decat on N/a?

Mine came with a Decat already fitted, but it was made before the Cat converter law in August '92, will it pass with a Decat on as it was manufactured in the same year but months before?

Re: New MR2 owner plate holder question

Thanks guys, I will investigate in more detail on Saturday but it sounds like cutting it is the way, they both have some severe play in them so I'm not sure of the state of the plate behind

New MR2 owner plate holder question

Hello all, new to the forum and MR2s in general, I have picked up a project which I'm trying to restore to its former glory. My first question is how so you remove the front number plate holder? I have unscrewed the number plate and removed that, unscrewed the screws holding the plate holder in plac...
