Tyre Loading MR2 Turbo

Hi

I have 17 inch wheels with 215/45 rear and 205/40 front - what are the minimum tyre loadings and do these change if I move up a tyre size or are they weight loading consistent across tyre sizes?

Cheers

Horn, Cig Lighter and Aircon all not working??

Any ideas? May be a co-incidence with one but at least two must be a related fault...certainly the cig lighter and horn failed at the same time.

Cheers

Tyres size query

Hi I have just bought some part worn AD08s 215/45/17 87W to put on the tubby. Currently running 215 rear and 205s front. I have 9x17 rear / 8x17 front rims. Thinking about the rears - will a 225/45 be ok (was origininally going to go 235/45) - 225 so much cheaper than the 235s?? Mainly track day use...

Here they wear a little quicker than Carbotech's...what has been your experience?

EBC - really mixed reviews plus my Indi specialist doesnt rate them Black diamond - cant seem to find fast track (not road) pads that fit Ferodo - cant seem to find 2500/3000 to fit Mintex ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Brake Pad and Disc Upgrade

Hi Rev 2 Turbo needs a new set of both for mainly track use and a little road driving. I have searched a little. Don't want to spend a fortune. Views on both appreciated - have seen the mtec, mintbitz and ziggy grooved and dimpled discs that look pretty good value at less than ebc discs - any experi...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Engine Compartment Fan Warning Light / Fix - Rev 2 Turbo

Hi Warning light comes on now and then - engine running fine. Have disconnected the sensor and the fan doesnt come on so not that. Few Qs: Where is the engine bay fan located? Followed the wire from the sensor and it just goes into the bay sidewall? Fan aside, any other obvious checks I should do? D...

Is the standard recirc BOV (correct terminology?) easy to replace for the current dump valve?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Dump valve too noisy - options??

Hi

Picked up the new tubby the other day - few niggles to sort, one being the dump valve release noise is just too loud for my tastes, its an aftermarket number, what are my options...ideally dont want to spend much or impact performance / reliability.

Cheers
