Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve

Thanks for all your help

Just one more thing, to replace the big pipe which currently has the baileys dump valve in it with a straight pipe, does anyone know the diameter and length pipe I would need or if the stock one has a name I can look up?

Thanks again

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve

I'm not really a fan of the sound it makes and want the car to be close to stock as possible really.

Is that a vacuum to the connect to the vacuum transmitting cable? I was thinking I could use the blue hose that currently goes the baileys dump valve would that be suitable?

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve

Thank you I found it on their website, not sure why the name has been removed in your post.

What kind of sound does that make Vs. an air circulating dump valve?

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve

I'd much rather go to stock, do you happen to know what that would be in terms of part number or name I should for? I presume its as obvious as it sounds 'blow off valve'? If anyone is selling one please let me know. When you say blanking plate is that a thing I can actually buy so on ebay or is it ...

Can anyone give advice on how to remove an air circulating dump valve and what original part I would need to put it back to stock?

Re: [FINALIZED] Rev 3 Turbo - totally refreshed & modified OEM style-##provisionally sold##

Hi Mark, I may potentially be interested in this in the near future and just have a few questions if you don't mind? - It looks like there is some damage to the spoiler on one of the ends - can you clarify? - The spoiler looks like it has the centre portion blacked out - is that right? If so can it ...

Re: 1994 Rev 3 Turbo LPG + Petrol (Rev 5 Looks)

I got mine converted by these guys http://www.pioneergasltd.co.uk/ based in rochdale at a cost of £1100. As for how?? I'm not sure but basically they replaced the spare wheel and surrounds in the frunk with a big LPG tank and put a filler at the back (the small black cube under the rear number plate...

Re: 1994 Rev 3 Turbo LPG + Petrol (Rev 5 Looks)

It boosts great, if anything it should 'run' better although the performance is slightly less if that makes sense? I say run better because LPG is a higher ron rating than even premium unleaded but at the same time, LPG has reduced power. I've been told it's around 15% reduction in power when on gas...

1994 Rev 3 Turbo LPG + Petrol (Rev 5 Looks)

Hi all, The time has come to sell my one of a kind Toyota MR2 Rev 3 GTS. I've spend a small fortune converting the car to LPG and getting the car to look like a Rev 5 version. It still runs on petrol and operates exactly the same, then you press a button and it runs on gas. It runs great on LPG whic...
