What's it worth? MR2 Rev3 Turbo (LPG - Rev 5 Looks)

Post by jamuk2004 »

Hi all,

I'm thinking of selling my rev 3 Turbo so thought I'd gauge interest and ideas for pricing.

It's a little different to most MR2's on here! For one it's bright yellow. It started life as a Rev 3 GTS Tin top and has had the following mods:

- Converted to LPG, equivalent to about 40 MPG on combined trips
- Rev 5 Spoiler (replica)
- Rev 5 Wheels (genuine - refurbed to new)
- Stock Rev 3 Turbo exhaust (rare!)
- Bilstein shocks
- Leather seats
- Avital aftermarket alarm
- Clear front indicator lights

I've tried to keep the car as stock as possible no boy racer dump valve or lame roof scoops.

The only non-standard parts on it to my knowledge are:

- Bilstein shocks
- Steering wheel
- Alarm
- Side Skirts

Generally very clean for the age, I think the previous owner had it resprayed at some point so not much paint fade compared to most!

Its done 170 KM - 105k Miles

So what's it worth??

I'm not a fan of any body modifications really but those side skirts great.

It's a bit too yellow and importy (insurance) for me but I would agree around the 2.5k mark to the right buyer.
