Been removing parts of the old stock sound system, and found the amp behind the drivers side rear speaker, there seems to be another similar looking part on the passenger side behind the speaker, what is it, is it part of the old system and its good to get shot of?

Not finished yet but I opted to change it to red, should look ok once all the trim is back on.

Maybe I should go ahead an do it anyway, 96k on the clock, wether its been done previously or not better safe than sorry.
