wanted asap. Going to remove seized pivot bolt and want the alternator bracket, that bolts to the engine and a pivot bolt

bolt now rounded off

moved a bit with the alternator moving as well until the alternator wouldnt move anymore. Sprayed wd40 on most of the tin over the last 24 hrs. Tried with a power bar and socket but wont budge. Starting to round bolt

any other ideas to do that?

got a new alternator to put on but the pivot bolt seems to have seized/bent?
the housing thats in place to hold the alternator. Is it possible to remove that with alternator? if so how many bolts?

daft question but the pivot bolt at the bottom of the alternator it is anti clockwise to loosen? sprayed half a tin of wd40 and still wont move

can anyone identify if my alternator is a round plug or not? i have taken a picture on my mobile but i cant post yet as i am new to the forum. So if anyone can give me there mobile or email i can send it to you. Would prefer mobile thanks

apart from the adjuster, locking nut and pivot nut what other nuts are there to remove the alternator?

just bought a 1995 mr2 in white with only 68000mls. had been garaged for a year. Tried to start and smoke bellowed out of engine bay. Upon further inspection the smoke came from the alternator belt and has now snapped. Sounds as though the alternator has seized and caused the belt to smoke and snap....
