[Mk2] [Turbo] oil grade

after the turbo conversion think its best i give the engine a quick service just like to know what oil grade i shud use for the 3sgte and any rcommended oils thanks

nice build mate. ive just done the same swop. got same issuies as the fog light when the brake pedal is pressed. as for not doing it again in the drive i can understand where u cumin from lol well done matey :thumleft:

ive still got my na clocks in but will need to swop over anytime soon as the speedo is not working due to the turbo box having a manual speedo cable, as for the oil level light thers no connector on the the turbo loom. anyone know which wire on the chasis side of the loom it is so i could sort that ...

im gonna get the rear lights sorted and then check on that brake pedal light. As for the oil light As long as its not oil pressure light im not fused. cheers guys thumleft:

right fellas engine is boosting :D ive changed the chasis loom over bled the clucth and drove the car home, all gone well just a few little thngs left to do on the car, i didnt connect the rear light as the connectors are different but that minor ill sort that out later or might just thro the rev 2 ...

Was your turbo lump from the same revision as your na car. Mine is a rev 3 car with a rev1/2 turbo lump . I might conder that as i do have the chasis loom which wont take long. Only reason why i didnt do.that thers a few wires need altering behind the passenger seat wher the loom comes in the cockpi...

The cars at work so will get the ecu number 2moro unless if.u can read the number on the ecu pic 2mad has put up for me. Cheers

Finally sum good news guys the tubby has fired up but seem to die down after a few seconds ive tried holding the revs up but just keeps dying. Also the clutch slave cylinder seems to be bu88er to bleed up any tips u guys gonna try get hold of a pressure bleeder see if that helps. Thanks

before i took the original engine out i unplugged that plug behind the pass seat just to see if it makes a difference since mine has more wires. ignition came on but the starter didnt click. im hoping that single blue wire is the the starter signal wire as it is the only wire in that plug (tubby loo...

Not to sure if its a rev 1 or 2. Whats the difference . How can i tell. I do have the complete loom but where the loom goes into the cockpit there is a plug which has different wiring. tried turning it over today. turns over well so starter is working also u can smell the fuel is cumin thru not sure about the spark, weather is abit crap to be working on car after work. got a day off friday so will be having a good look over then. :pray:

hi guys, bolted the engine lump in eveything has plugged in except a few plugs. ive plugged in the ecu, the green relay and the grey box but im left with 2 plugs which dont plugs together. 1 from the engine loom and the other from the chasis loom int the boot also in the engine bay the is a grey rou...
