bumper bar/weight

Hi,

Thinking of running the car without the bumper bar in place to save weight.

Just thought I'd ask for the pros and cons on this, ie towing

Thanks

Hi,

Planning on getting a 4 point harness and would like to know the best positions for the mounting points.

Any pics would also be helpful :)

Thanks

Re: ST185 calipers

Think I'll be trying that this weekend. My concern looking at them is that 1 of the carrier bolts look different.

I thought both top and bottom bolts on my existing Calipers had the same sort of hole but on these it seem different on the 2 bolt holes.... maybe I'll take a pic later and post it. :)

Re: ST185 calipers

The calipers are deffo twin pots, fitting to a mk1b (D reg).

Is there a part number on them I could look for to make sure?

ST185 calipers

Morning,

For Xmas my wife has bought me some ST185 twin pot calipers :D

Only problem is I'm not sure what other parts I'll need for the conversion.

Discs? Carriers? brake lines?

I understand it's a simple swap but would like to be sure before I jump in lol

Help and part numbers welcome :)

I'll have to check if they dim when the key is turned or when the engine starts to fire.

Delayed start?

Hi, over the last few days I've noticed there is a delay in starting the car. Put the keys in, lights all come on as normal. Turn the key to the start position and keep it there....... nothing for about 5-10 seconds then as long as it's kept in the start position.... it starts. Seems to be taking lo...

Rear window heater thingy

Is there some sort of control box for the rear window heater?

If so where? (Now I dont have a rear window this is just a waste of space and added weight)
