Re: Buying advice
Spent a good portion of this evening reading up on it to be honest!
I only have £3000, that is absolutely my limit and the car is worth the asking price of £4000 at least so I would just offend with an offer.

Re: Buying advice
So basically as I thought, drive it like I stole it and the fuel consumption will really vary between na and turbo, but drive it sensibly around town and should be relatively similar? Speaking of turbos, does anyone know this car? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331017486960?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_...

Re: Buying advice
Thanks Rik, Pm'd the guy 5 minutes ago, yeah I was looking at that one too Karl got it saved in my watch list, looks really really good. What are Turbos like for running costs, obviously lots more to go round but is there an absolutely massive difference in fuel consumption (if driven in the same st...

Re: Buying advice
Was looking at a Skyline GTS, plenty about for under 3k but none good enough so those are ruled out. Insurance on Imprezas is absolutely disgraceful, 3 times as much as my last MR2 so there's no way I'll be bothering with them. For some bizarre reason an FTO would be £120 a month, more than big twin...

Buying advice
Evening all. I am hoping to get back into the MR2 fold soon. I have a good budget (max £3000) to spend and need some buying advice. How much would I look to pay for a decent, relatively low mileage Rev4 or Rev5 N/A? Would I be able to get a turbo for the same amount of money? Or in your opinions sho...

Hi mate, gutted.
I was ready to take it off your hands a month ago, but all the best with whatever problems there are and good luck with sale.
If I can sell the mundane Hyundai Coupe I've bought I might be in touch.
Cheers.

Re: [FINALIZED] Rev3 GLimited N/A with issues
I could probably get over double what I'm asking for in parts but I just don't have the time or space to do it.
Still available, even as a donor this is a decent price and car.

Some more pictures. Please remember it does need a clean - which I will do before handing the keys over. Interior which needs a hoover. Shows short aluminium gear lever, red and black floor mats, red and black steering wheel cover (just a simple pull over one). Although you can't see it in this ligh...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Coolant Issue - Water Bypass Hose
My humble apologies. After a tiring day with the car and in my desperation for answers I forgot to include the relevant information.
Rev3 N/A import, GLimited L reg.
I've been led to believe the gasket in question has no part number, and is 'included' in the pipe package? Have I been told wrong?

Rev3 GLimited N/A with issues
Had the car for around 18 months and have loved every minute, but it's time for something more sensible and less costly. Details; Currently on 165k miles FULL service history from when it came to the UK in 1995 Pretty much all receipts for all parts and work carried out Enkei Circular alloy wheels w...

[Mk2] [NA] Coolant Issue - Water Bypass Hose
Evening all. Just signed up for Premium so I'm hoping someone will save me from having nightmares about what's happening to my MR2. Apparently (after months of it drinking coolant) I've been told by a garage that I have a leak somewhere around the water bypass hose, near the area where it goes into ...
