the hilux MC is 1" it has a 4 bolt flange, if you need anything else please let me know.
i have 2 of these in my workshop, so we could have a deal if you wanted to use 1.

I spotted a red mk1b tbar on the a14 about 12 pm on thursday.
didnt catch the reg but had red highlights on pepperpot alloys.

Mine are a tight fit but i just bash them on with the palm of my hand, never had any problems with them not sealing.
How much to small are they?

Bought a mk2 as a track car and have just realised it has an lsd, wouild this just be a simple case of a previous owner putting a turbo gearbox on the car, or did some NA's come with LSDs?

im no expert but maybe drop the oil see if the coolant got in the cylinders or if it just escaped from the rad, compression test would probably be a good idea to

Phil I remember our conversation at the rolling road day and you really talked me into it, seems like the perfect way into motorsport.
How was the end of your season? Just been looking on the TSS forums, what are you doing to your engine, did you blow it up or are you just stopping it burning oil?

Yea it is a shame, that is my problem as well, i run 2 cars on the road already so cant afford to buy a third out right.
I have a workshop, tools just not the funds.

Thanks too everyone for taking the time to donate their wisdom. Yes peter im glad this didnt happen in germany dont know what i would have done. Paul it will not stay in forth at all as soon as the clutch is gently released it starts to grind if i try to hold it in place, i will however do the check...

Everything feels fine at the gear stick end and after remove the centre console all cables are well attached with no play. Just had the car up on a lift and after watching the movement of the cables to select 4th i disconnected the cable, and with the engine runing and an assistant operating the clu...

Is there anything i can do too make sure before i rip the box out?
If it is the needle roller bearing are they exensive? and are they diffucult to replace?

It will engage but pops out as soon as i feather the throttle.
I did try to hold it but makes lots of horrible crunching noises.

Do i need a new box or isit it possible/worth the effort of repairing?

Please help was just driving home, at a reasonable pace. Shifted into forth and it jumped straight back out again i tried repeatedly with the same result all other gears are fine, gearbox oil was changed when i did the clutch around a month ago. What have i done? Is there anything i should check? or...

My main objective is to be cost effective, track legal and to make life as easy as possible, not overly concerned about performance atm.

Im gonna have a stab at making a link pipe when i get the chance will let you know how i get on.

peter i currently have a janspeed fitted to the car and this is the exhaust that is too loud for track use. My reason for wanting to make a custom front pipe is that i have a standard back box that is not on the car at present, so my thinking is that the easiest and cheapest way to get my car track ...
