I've had this a couple of times now when I've changed gear and the exhaust pops. (Magnex back box with standard centre section)
I love all this (Reminds me of a drive I had in a Caterrham)and want more. Anyone else get this and how do you get more?

Re: Car Cover
I've had cheap covers before and they just do not do the job properly.
This is what you want.
http://www.classicadditions.com/index.php?cPath=47_62
I've got one, very good, withstands the worst of the weather, not bad for £143.
Only problem is the car has to be dry before it's covered.

Engine Conversion Specialists - Any experiences??
Toying with the idea of getting an engine transplant. :-k Not sure whether it would be the Camry V6 or the 3s gte but at the moment I'm more interested in the turbo. Can anyone recommend any companies who are able to do this, any experiences on the best engine and of course prices. Thanks in advance...

The wheels aren't my cup of tea, I reckon they detract from the car.
Can appreciate the hard work though, I once did the same with some Alfa P4 alloys.

Cheers Fab my suspicions are confirmed.
I myself have been further modifying the stock intake piping by taking further material away and I am very happy with the results which is an all round improvement to response, noise and engine flexibility.

Re: Direct replacement Ramair or Pipercross filter for '89 SC AW11
Great reply thanks! And backing up my theory that tailoring the current assembly with the addition of a performance filter to replace the OE piece is of most benefit. Have found a good price for both the Apexi and Ramair foam filters, hence my original question on how the Ramair performs against the...

Re: Direct replacement Ramair or Pipercross filter for '89 SC AW11
Have you managed to give the new filter a try yet??? I'm thinking of getting a replacement sports filter rather than an induction kit also so have been reading with interest. Or is an induction kit worth the extra expense and hassle? Also is there a problem in drilling some holes in the air box to f...

Re: Most Impressive Wins
"Hate to say it guys but anyone with a Mk1NA is going to out powered by non sporty modern cars. Technology has moved on a lot since the mid 1980's. You are only going to beat modern cars around twisty roads." Disagree with that. The na is still fast even by modern standards with around 136...

Re: Most Impressive Wins
Had an interesting drive behind an RS4 and Porsche GT3 a couple of weekends ago. This was around the Buckland Bends in Reigate through to Dorking, the GT3 was at the front with the RS4 and then me and all of us were keeping the cars on cam for a quick squirt. Great fun, the GT3 and RS4 obviously pul...

Help!! Alternator fried & external regulator query.
Local auto electrician says my alternator is fried like an egg :( but he was banging on about it having an external regulator??!!??? To my knowledge they have an IC regulator within the unit (Correct me if I'm wrong) but is there an external one? Or is he confusing the two?? :? Reason I ask is that ...
