Wicked sense or humour or sad deluded fool, you decide??

Post by halflife »

Spotted at Chester zoo yesterday by my lad...still laughing to myself now
I have seen some bad MR2 / Ferrari replicas but this one has to take the biscuit. Seats say Type X on them  ...mmmm must be fast then
Rusting in all the usual places as I am sure is common with Ferrari bodies
I really like the interior conversion as well though like the leather gear knob with yellow stitching, the Ferrari badge on the center tunnel :^o and the huge (I mean Huge! #-o ) turbo badge on the steering wheel.

Sorry if this is your pride an joy but hats off to you if you did it for an expensive laugh :thumleft:

I thought I'd seen a rare Ferrari when an F40 LM drove through Leeds yesterday but I've never even seen photos of an F164 Berlinetta before. :o

That has got to be someone with a sense of humour, I hope :-k

I must admit I do like MK1's in yellow, but that turbo badge is just hilarious

Although the MK1 can out handle a Ferrari 328, but hey lets put some Ferrari badges on it and no one will guess ](*,)

Do you think if I whack some NASA badges on mine, people will call their mates to say they have just been overtaken by a Saturn 5 rocket

So if he really has a turbo engine in there is it a "care in the the community" problem?

That's a pretty convincing replica. If you put some Toyota badges on it you'd never know that car started life as a Ferrari.

Didn't know Mr.T made a 1.6 24v turbo engine.....

Aye, minus the dodgy badges it doesn't look too bad!

That steering wheel badge is from the coilpack cover of an MA70 Supra turbo! What a :clown:

There's a chap in the states who built this thing called a "Lamarossa", based on a Supra, it's about a hundred times worse than the MR2 above and looks like a testarossa jelly mould gone wrong :D
