[Mk2] [Turbo] rad fans constantly on?!?

hey

replaced the rad on my rev1. now the rad fans r contantly on?

i was having bother with my heater pipes so i have disconnected them and plugged the hoses in the engine bay(temp fix). i also replaced the 3 sensors on the water pump housing. (grey,green and blue 1.)

any one know what might be wrong and why my fans are constantly on.

i have disconnected 1 of them for now. so only 1 is constantly on.

Rad fans would be constantly on when the wiring to the temp sensor on the rad has been disconnected. Is the clip properly secured? Might the contacts need cleaning?

Were you able to swap the sensor from the old to the new rad without damaging it?

That's true of the engine bay fan.
But from what I remember the front fan only has one plug to it - so if this was unplugged it wouldn't have any electricity to make it work

You may be right about the contacts or sensor though.

My rev2 v6 has same behaviour and its deffinately due to my rad temp sensor being disconnected.
