It's good to see some the piccies, I'm pretty sure this is the car he was importing for me, everything matches! It ended up the shipping being messed about so much I cancelled the order after 6 months of waiting. Looks like my loss was your gain!

Whats happening with ur car?

It's with regret that i'm selling my mr2 turbo. I imported this last year though an mr2 specialist. She came into the country as a grade 4 which means she's in exceptional condition! The car also only has 57k on the clock which is incredibly low mileage for a 1994 car!

The car is virtually the same as it left the factory apart from a HKS panel filter, stainless steel braided brake lines, Extremely rare Phoenix power departure 2 exhaust and an uprated clutch.

When it was new the owner upgraded the lsd (limited slip differential) to a Trd item (Toyota Racing Developments) and it is a much better item as unlike the original viscous lsd this is a mechanical part.

The car still has 7 months mot and a couple of months tax and is in great condition. The boost has never been altered so runs at standard pressure and the book figure for this is 240bhp at the flywheel, However they always seem to make around 270-280bhp at the flywheel when tested. She boosts perfectly with no black smoke or hesitation. I have always allowed it to warm up before i have used boost and always cooled it down correctly.

I insisted on the importer doing a compression test before i bought it and all was well with perfect readings. I have had 7 mr2's over the years now and i'm a member of the owners club and well known in mr2 circles.

Being the revision 3 mr2 she also has a more powerful engine compared to the rev1/2 engine which only produces 220bhp at the most and also has a better suspension setup with bigger brakes and my car also has abs.

She is also a tintop which means there is no leaks and is lighter with a stiffer chassis compared to the tbar versions.

The car is a joy to drive and i'm gutted i'm selling it but i'm starting my own business and need something cheaper to run with a bit more space.

Since i imported the car i have had a full category 1 alarm fitted for peace of mind and to bring the insurance down a bit.

I think i'm asking a fair price considering the car but i would be interested in a swap/px for a more sedate car like a civic sport/206gti or similar.
