8.5" x18" ET 35 x 114 ? with 225/40/18 tyers all round (my car is a 92 k reg tuby)

fronts will rub the suspension strut as the wheel is too wide. Same sized tyres all round is a bad idea you should have at least 20mm wider on the rear

i had a nightmare with wheels and tires mate !!!! 3 or 4 sets befroe i settled with this combo!
had 255/40 tires on split rims cost 2000 they were xxxx came bent and were so heavy! steering was awful!! rota were 870 with the tires! you will need the 35 off set you can do 40 but i had to buy longer wheel studs! they were about 35 i think ?

Yeah i would just go for 17s as the handling is not very good with 18s due to the centre of gravity being higher so it will roll on corners.....mind they do look good but i think the downsides outweigh upsides!
I was gonna get 18s but pulled out at the last min and got 17" black asia tec Yakuzas!
