[Mk2] [NA] Insurance - 3.0 V6 Conversion

Hi,

Can people let me know how much you are paying for your insurance on the 3.0 V6 conversion? A few basic details as well such as age etc would be helpful.

I'm considering it as I've blown my engine!

Cheers,

We insure a fair few V6 MR2s... please feel free to contact me with your phone number and a good time to call if you would like me to arrange a quote?

Posting up a figure is pretty meaningless on it's own.
What you really need are before and after quotes :)

I'm currently with Chris Knott paying £313 fully comp all current mods declared. They have quoted me £450 pro-rata for when I have the conversion in March. I'm 46 with 4 years NCB, car is garaged PE postcode.

With ten months remaining on the policy, the insurance on Lyn's VM180 (mk3) went up by £125. This is with Footman James and the car is insured as a TRD VM180 - would you believe they actually recognised the model! - rather than an MR-S.
