[Mk2] [Turbo] rev 4 info

hi all, quick question 2 all the people who know.. what year did rev 4 turbo`s come out and what 2 look out for 2 know which are.
been looking at this mr2 t bar turbo last week near me (private sale) and his description is a rev 3 turbo but its on a P reg 1996 with dual air bags 2.. is this right??

that sounds like a rev 4 mate,they started at n reg.
comes with 2 airbags (steering wheel & dash) clear front corners,no toblerones ie solid moulding with uk style indicator in the wing.
mine also has the mr2 sill plates!

Driver and passenger airbags are definately rev 4 characteristics, and the steering wheel will have 4 branches instead of 3.

If its fully standard, other things to note are you won't have toblerones in the strip at the bottom of the wing, you'll have UK spec side repeaters. You'll also have machined and lacquered (polished effect) alloy wheels.
