Problem with the garage?

Hi,

As I was bored, I thought I'd have a browse through the garage and I rated a couple of cars. However even though I rated both cars "10" the average rating actually went down? Am I missing something, I thought the rating was an average, therefore by me selecting 10 it should have gone up not down?

I noticed this around 6 months ago.

The more ratings a car has the value seems to go down for some odd reason

It used to be a cumulative total of all ratings but now is out of 10 and just goes down, not up

Its a small thing really, I can live with 7.88/10 for a little while longer.

We use a weighted system to stop one rating of 10/10 making a car be rated top. This is a similar system to IMDB etc...

The maths ....
