Running the fuel pump at high voltage constantly will yield no increase in performace, the ecu switches to high voltage mode as soon as you make boost.

There is a reason on rev 1 and 2 cars why they fitted the relay, there is a 4psi pressure drop across the rail from cylinder 1 to cylinder 4, i cant remember the ins and outs but the made it run slower for certain reasons.

On the rev 3 engine the fuel rail is larger and does not have a large pressure drop like the first 2 revisions, if i can find the information on it i will post it later.
