im just doing a survey about the downpipes which have been bought from the seller/company
i wish to find out how many of these have broken/ split
once i have completed the survey i will then be going to trading standards with as much information as i can

please reply if you have had problems with these or the aftersales

mine split so i had it braized up ;)

how long after fitting did it split and what did xs power say when you spoke to them

I've had no problems with mine after 18 months..... even with track use.

had 2 of them both cracked. one lasted a year with the support bracket fitted. the other lasted 3 months with the support bracket as it didnt fit.

never spoke to xspower direct about the downpipes as i was planning on just getting a decent one but couldnt source one so had to get another quick.

i did put a post on here showing his old style downpipes and the one i bought off of tim and his customer service skills were shocking pretty much saying that there was and never has been a problem with his pipes.

thats pretty much the same response i got from him that he never had any problems before and that his warranty was only for thirty days

Their new ones are different to their old ones though so it wouldnt be a fair comparison.

think your missing a commer there as it makes it sound like my customer service was shocking, i hope not anyway :D

missread,sorry...anyway ive heard off dozens of problems with x s power...had my own fair share off problems but i only have myself to blame...there price says it all...
