Mickey Thompson Drag Radials

Post by Century Motorsport »

Hi everyone,

Just a thought - we're getting a set of Mickey T street legal DR's for our car through our Marangoni contact and were wondering if any other folks wanted to us to order for them too?

We havent got a final price yet but will be ordering the tyres withing the next few weeks.

If anyone is interested post up here or drop us a PM and we can try and get the best price.

Regards,

Nathan

Depending on price let me know, was looking at A048s at the weekend, need tyres in the next 6 weeks or so. :)

I'll check sizes and get back to you, think they are 235/40/17 F and 255/40/17 r for the TRD, but also I need some good tyres for my MK1 TC which are 195/50/16 all round (could do 205s rear I guess).

Yeah it's a shame, the Hoosiers are a great racing tyre (as you probably know!!).

Am deciding between the MTs, A048s and 888s.

Cool Nath!

Count me in mate. I'll be looking for the equivalent of 255 x 40 x 17's mate.

...just need to order some more wheels now. #-o

People!

Due to it being extreme hassle to get the mickey t's in numbers from the us i have decided to go down the Hoosier route.

They are grooved and D.O.T marked.

Ill get prices and pm you all - the more we order the cheaper the price. If your not interested no worries, its just another route which will be quicker and easier.

Hoosier will be good no doubt about that!

Not as such.... but nor are micky t's....... they are D.O.T marked which i believe is road legal in U.S.A but not in U.K - they need an E mark.
