[Mk2] [Turbo] Alternater

Hi All
My battery is sending 16.8v around my car!! my machanic has said my alternater is on its way out, something about the bushes? anyway the cheapest one he can find is £175

Does anyone know where i can get a new or re con one for less??

Should be able to get either a 2nd one for about £50 or your own reconditioned for about £100.

Dont know what they are like but there is a company in birmingham who advertise on Ebay who do recons.
