[Mk2 Generic] OK so I was wrong about Yellow being rare...

Seen another MR2 when you were out and about? Find out if it was another IMOCer here.

[Mk2 Generic] OK so I was wrong about Yellow being rare...

Post by Andy Champ »

Apart from the blonde I often see in Maidenhead I saw a couple driving into the town from White Waltham or A404 direction the other evening - Tues I think - and tonight a guy in his 40s on his own this evening near Bracknell.

All in yellow Mk2s.

The last one popped his lights up, I waved.

Well, I know of 3 yellow ones in my area alone. One is a highly modded turbo, one a n/a tbar and the other a hard top. All with a short distance from my house. Only seen one other carribean blue though, and saw only one other aquamarine one when I had my na of the same colour.

Seen yellow ones pretty often on my travels too, so don't think they are that rare - unless they did different yellows over the years?

Huh? Why did this spring back to life? I've given up on the spotted as no-one ever replies - and then I get a reply, a month late. Am I on a different time zone or something?

That`ll be my fault I work away alot so Im on a bit of a delay and a bit of a MR2 loner , I did a search for Bracknell and this thread came up. I see quite a few MK2`s in my area and I always give a wave or the "nod" aint even had one wave back! Misserable bleeders!

And just to annoy you even more - went on a trip through mid wales today - and saw 2 more yellow two's! One quite a light yellow while the other was more a custard colour.... different shades available I guess, or possibly resprays..

....and only saw 1 other carribean blue one. :P

I walk through an underground car park in Croydon on the way to work, and I saw 2 yellow MR2s in there the other day!

Quite a co-incidence I thought - worth a post here anyway.

They were a rev1 and rev2, both n/a.
