Man, Driving to work I see at least 4 MR2's.

I flash, wave, get nothing back. Just dirty looks! The only guy that did was the other day I was going down the lanes to crewes hill and an old boy gave a wave.

Come on guys, cheer up a bit, most of you guys are prob on the way home as I'm going into work lol.

There is one guy with a modded 2 who always looking the other way as I drive up. I drive right up past his house whilst he's standing next to it. Totally oblivious lol.

The rest of them need to cheer up and stop with the dirty looks.

Yeah thing i noticed about London MR2 owners is that every1 looks moody and thinks your trying to race. You should know that every1 in central areas likes to compete and road rage....
I had 1 guy stick a thumbs up with me on the A40 and bumped into 2 IMOC members in Hyde Park but never again....
Every1 jus gives dirty looks, best place to do that sort of thing is out of london or in the suburbs tbh...

Usually the people I see are coming in the opposite direction! So no chance of confusing it with wanting to race

Only just moved here and I noticed the same thing, couple of Black Rev 2s around the corner from me, so far I've never seen them smile or had them wave/flash back as I've driven past them...

Yeah i get it aswell, they look at you as though you have 3 heads....

especially in London! Some very ignorant owners there.
(obviously the MR2 to some of these people is just a daily driver and not a passion).

There are a two white Mk2 owners in Petersfield who I've yet to get a response from, even though I give them a wave almost every time I see them. Must think I'm wierd!

I've managed to get most of the Gosport and Fareham Mk1 owners to wave back, one or two of the Mk2 owners as well.

Is the problem not just London full stop? I think everyone there needs to cheer up a bit. Admittedly Cov and Brum (where I work) are not much better, but the stereotype about people being friendlier the further you get from the capital is generally pretty true.

I've been spending a lot of time seeing a girl in Newcastle recently and people up there are genuinely so much friendlier - you'd have no problem getting a wave off them.
