[Mk2 Turbo]Power fc aftermarket ecu 3s gte rev3

Post by mitec31 »

Hi,can you help I have a rev3 turbo 1996 with traction control and abs and have been told by my local jap garage that fitting the power fc ecu will render the traction control and abs system inoperable giving warning lights on dash can any one confirm if this is true, also if I then refit the original ecu the error will be retained in the traction control unit and the only way is to take it to toyota to reset it to enable the traction control/abs to work again thanks

I have a PowerFC and no problem with my ABS.

Don't have TC so can't comment on that.

No this isnt true, the garage is wrong. They are seperate systems. They have their own ECU's.

I fitted a Power FC and it didnt affect the TRC or ABS at all.
