Widest tyre ??

Whats the widest tyre i can fit on a 15 inch 7 j rear wheel i have 225/50/15 at the moment on my wedsport wheels they have an offset of 31 if thats needed too.

235 at a sqeeze because of the high profile.

Do you think a lower profile like a 45 is to low for a 15 inch wheel 235/50 sounds wide enough aslong as it doesent role.

Even if it did fit, a 235/50/15 size tyre is quite hard to get hold of.
