Interior mat fastening pin?

Post by chrispurvis100 »

I have orginal mats in my tubby with the 'eye-let' hole. However, i'm missing the pin/screw to attach it properly. The driver's mat keeps slipping foward and under the throttle pedal!
Can you get this part from Mr.T, and what does it look like?

I've just used carpet tape (double sided sticky tape) to hold mine in place as I had the same problem.

I enquired about this a while ago and was told you can't buy the retaining peg on it's own.

Of course, I could have been lied to.
