Hard luck mate. If police drivers are anything like their bikers that's scary. Some of the best in the country.

Nasty :(

Diesel is a nightmare though, I remember coming back from the Yorkshire meet one night last year and something had spread diesel all down the motorway, off the sliproad, around the roundabout and down a dual carriageway - at the bottom of this was a pile of cars next to another roundabout :(

It was plain frightening to drive on, I ended up calling the police and they closed the road while a cleaning crew was sent out....

ke i posted on here i had a simmilar incident large roundabout...hammering it down with rain 3/4 of the way round a big manhole cover i was accelerating off the roundabout as that was my exit... backend went and was heading towards a lampdost/central reservation, tried to steer to correct it...oversteered and slowly slid into the metel railings that are at the edge of the pavment, luck has it i hit ring in the middle of a panel(the softest part) so all it did was rip my nosecone dent the eye lid and break a foglamp ans sidelight/indicator...

i must admit as ther is nothing you can do to stop it and you are just sat there waiting for that awful BUMP its scares the xxxx out of you....

i still remember it now.....

Stick with the red, good luck with the rebuild, doesn't look too difficult. 8)

 was sorry to see that, glad you are ok though, could have been worse.

mate, if you need a hand taking it all off to see what's damaged etc, let me know, and I'll pop over and give you a hand, as you know i've just had my front in bits and know how it all comes apart.

have you SORN'd it off to anywhere undercover?, is it actually Off Road?
I maybe able to help with a off road location if you're stuck.
Cheers

Blimey chap, looks rough. Glad you're OK though.

If it's an 'out of town' roundabout I have heard there is a bit of a craze at the moment to put diesel down to aid idiots practising their 'drift' skillz.

I've gone through a large puddle of spilt diesel before, and found I had no brakes half a mile later! That stuff is evil. Worth being careful out there guys.
