WHAT COLOUR OF SILVER ???

Does anyone know the correct name of the colour of SILVER used on the mr2 mk1.
I am wanting to get sections of my two resprayed but i am unsure what the name of the silver colouring is?

If you look on the VIN plate in the front boot (its on the bulkhead at the front of the car, look into the front boot towards the radiator) you will find the paint code for your car, it will be in the form of 3 or 4 letters numbers and letters, ie mine is 3E5 which is Super RED II, I'm not sure of the code for silver but it should be something like 141 or possibly 150

the colour range for a 85/86 car lists 5 silvers.
147 silver metalic
148 silver metalic
150 silver metalic
154 greenish silver metalic
160 bluish silver metalic
there are several greys which i would also call silver so make sure you get your paint from a good paint supplier.halfrauds toyota silver is very unlikely to match any of them.

Mine is 'super silver metallic' code 166

yes but i think yours will be a later car.all the early cars did not have the `super` tag to the colours.
