General Thanks, Sagging Doors

Post by ldavies83 »

I cant remember who suggested it, but yesterday I got round to fitting 2 washers on the bottom hinge to sort out the "slamming" syndrome of getting the drivers door closed.

It worked a treat and now needs merely a gentle push. Highly recommended modification and only took 5 minutes to do!

Thanks IMOC/MR2Mk1Club!

I think that was me, and you're welcome. As for piccies, if anyone thinks it needs it I could add them to the note I made about the washer 'fudge' in the repairs page on doors I did. It was just a footnote at the time as it's not really a proper 'repair', it just works.

Hi Karl, I hope you dont mind I've written my own how to and dropped it into the knowledge base here with pics (still pending authorisation), but now that I know who originally developed the idea I'll post due credit on \:D/

What's 'the Knowledge Base', am I missing out on something really useful here?
