NA - SUPERCHARGER - TURBO

Hi, I have an 86 MR2. I'm in the process of swapping out the 4age motor for the ae92 4agze motor. The engine came with the cam angle sensor, coils, wires, and plugs. Along with the supercharger assembly already attatched.

The idea behind the project is to pull off the supercharger and swap over to a turbocharger.

I plan on using the Haltech E6X to run things so naturally I didn't bother purchasing the stock wiring harness and ecu.

My question is, will I need to run seperate additional triggers for the timing. Is the extra triggers method only used on those with the Mega Squirt?

I'm assuming that I just connect the wires from the Haltech to the sensors needed for normal opperation and then start tuning. Is that correct, or do I really need to go rumaging around junk yards looking for the Ford EDIS assembly and start fabricating?

Any help you could give me would be greatly appretiated.

This sounds more like a question for Haltech, have you bought it? I would expect the manual will say what the requirements for sensors are. No need for EDIS if the E6X has coil drivers built in.
