[Mk2] [NA] Fitting rear 255/40/17's to rev 2 rev 3 turbo conversion.

I doubt that the Turbo driveshafts and hubs will have any bearing on this but mentioned it in the title just in case.

Now I did have a full guide via PM on my previous "BALDYMONSTER" account which for some reason I still cannot get into????

What is required to enable fitting 255/4/17 rear tyres to my Rev 2 then?

Rolled arches I believe are a must, do I need a particular width of alloy wheel and or spacers? Is there a recommended tyre to make fitting easier with less chance of rubbing.

I am running standard shocks but with 25% uprated new internal inserts.

Car is lowered 40 MM.

you need to know the wheel offset and I'm sure it needs to be a 9inch rim too. An ET of 35mm will likely rub (pretty bad) but ET of 42 wont be so bad. Either way roll the arches and be done with it. Anything lower than et35 will require the arches to be pulled too. Look at my breaking thread, you'll see ET35 wheels fitted with 255 x 40 x 17

Tyres, AD08R's are really square shoulders so are worse for rub than Michelen (spelling) Pilot Sport 2 which have a rounder shoulder. Roll the arches properly and dont go lower than ET35 and you will be fine.
