Vinyl wrapping.

Post by kurkjones »

Anyone had this done to a car they own? My girlfriend has an 03 celica.
She wants it wrapped pink. Haha! Anyone had it done in Scotland somewhere and if so where and at what cost?

Had a friend in Aberdeen do her bmw in blue, cost £1200, was a really good job.
I have also seen it done to many vans, after a couple of years the wrap shrunk on the corners etc. so it is definitely wise to do your homework, what area you looking for recommendations ?

I've not seen a car yet done in this yet, that doesn't look 5h1te!

Dont know if thats because ones ive come across are diy bodges or because its been on a while and has started to peel or bubble and was covered in rips and chips.

You can get a cheap respray for 1200, you might even get a better than cheap spray job if you do all or a lot of the prep.

Would recommend looking into a plasti dip paint job. Much much cheaper and looks pretty good.

I have to agree, I've not seen a single car that looks good wrapped. Whether that's down to getting it done cheaply or what I can't say but I've yet to be impressed by a wrap :(
