exhaust

Post by jayelem »

Is there any reason the magnex exhaust that fits the n/a wont fit the s/c as I think im going to plump for one as I did for my old n/a & liked it. Thanks!

No, it will fit.

Mark and I ran Magnex exhausts on our SC's.

As Lauren says, it'll be fine. I'm currently running a Mongoose (Which is basically the same exhaust) on our SC conversion.

The only issue you will get fitting n/a exhaust parts to an SC is if you start changing the manifold - The SC has an O2 sensor mounted in the manifold whereas a (UK/European spec) n/a does not. Even the manifolds are the same casting but the SC one has the mounting point for the sensor drilled out so it's something to be aware of if you try to fit an aftermarket tubular manifold to an SC

Thanks people. I thought as much & ive ordered it tonight. The s/steel one coming off is pretty decent but a bit too loud for me but will be for sale soon as. its had a spot weld where the bracket attaches to it but apart from that its good. not sure of make but may know when it is off.
