[Mk2] [Turbo] 35/52 error codes

Hi guys, i had the engine warning light come on yesterday, i used the diagnosis port to get the codes 35 and 52 after looking them up i found that they refer to turbo pressure and the knock sensor.
Can anyone give me any advise on weather it is safe to drive the car with these problems ?

I think that means the car has overboosted, hit fuel cut and popped the Knock Sensor into the bargain. Did this all happen after you had had your foot down, ie boosting hard?

If the knock sensor has gone the engine will only run in get you home mode.
I would not use it for long like that.
Replace the knock sensor with a new Toyota one and try and find out why the engine has so much knock that it damaged the sensor.

Yea light came on after using full boost in 2nd, also i have got my
turbo turned upto 15psi .

Code 35 is the sensor, code 34 is overboost.

52 means you need a new knock sensor. Make sure you use genuine Toyota.

14/15 psi tops is ok just disconnect you map sensor if you dont have a fcd ... popping your knock sensor is really bad .. not an easy thing to do .. maybe take things easy till you find out why .
