Been having a problem with the locking on my car recently.
It's the standard fob. The car unlocks fine, but when I lock it just the alarm activates, the doors don't lock.
So I'm currently having to press the lock button inside to lock the passenger door, then get out lock the drivers door as it unlocks itself when you close it, then press the fob for the alarm.I'm guessing there'll be a loose connection somewhere, but any pointers would be nice! I'm guessing either the door internals, lock switch or the locking ecu behind the radio?
I'll hapily fit an aftermarket c/l kit as the range is crap on the standard one, but I believe this is easier with the standard stuff working.
Also, putting the key in the door lock has never disarmed the alarm is this normal?
I've had a look through recent threads about central locking and searched for my issue but not found anything relevant.
