Another SW meet!!! SUNDAY 5TH OCTOBER

See if we can get the usuals involved in this! This time we could meet at "chequer's" (a pub on the Avon) near Bristol then maybe a drive somewhere......maybe cheddar!:P. dont know a date yet. Thought we could all have a little discussion about that! What are we thinking????

We went to Cheddar last time on the Sunday JAE ended, [7th] & I didn't know but there's a regular general car meet in the gorge on Sundays so even though there was just 4 of us there was a fair bit going on.
We got there at 7.30 & it was dark within the hour, not to mention pretty chilly so would be better to get there a bit earlier than that.
There was also a fair number of plod looking to pull anyone for anything, so make sure all your lights are working, etc

Chequers/Lock & Weir sounds good, maybe at 1/2ish rather than the morning, given no one will be drinking but people might want lunch, then head down to Cheddar via your favourite road?

There is always something going off in the gorge at night (i would know:P) and yes police do tend to be around! However if its 3 am you are probably alright......not like i would know..........
aaaaanyway, yes lunchtime would be a good idea, especially if we arnt too lucky with the weather conditions (can just sit in the pub)
its just when to do it i suppose. I'll get this up on FB later, know some people on there that would be interested!

Sounds like a plan Tim! For now ill say leave Chippenham at 11 to get there before 12, never been to this pub so will be an experience. I suppose ill let everyone know to meet at the pub for 12, see how it goes down!;)

Just a heads up, i stoped by the pub the other day as i was in bristol, not too hard to find. Satnavs and phones will get you there fine, looks nice. Roads are single track close to the pub so be careful! look forward to seeing everyone!;)
