Gear box oil

Post by sherwin1983 »

Hi all,

How do i check\replace the gear box on on my AW11 mk1b mr2?

Any other fluids that should be changed other than oil, break fluid and coolant?

When should this be done?

Cheers all

You should definitely do the coolant and brake fluid if you haven't done them before. Coolant system is about 12litres. Should be able to do the brake fluid with 1 litre.

+1 for Redline MT90 :thumleft:

Just make sure you can undo the filler nut on top of the gearbox before you drain the existing oil out of the bottom as stated in the write-up!

I find it much easier to put oil into the box through the reverse switch hole.
