[Mk2] [NA] dial cluster issues

I'm having a few issues with the above, firstly the rev counter has been intermittent for awhile then stopped working. The cluster was removed, all the connections checked then reinstalled which solved the problem briefly, however its now not working once again.

The next issue is recently I replaced the 4 back light bulbs, 3 worked fine with the exception of the petrol gauge & left side of the cluster. I tried one of the working bulbs in the holder nothing, also rotated the bulb 180 degrees in the holder - nothing. Does this mean it's a cluster issue? bulb holder perhaps?

(Ignore the rev counter dead spot - now illuminated)



& finally I'm missing a bulb holder & bulb for the fog illumination where can i buy these? any part numbers?

You might be better off buying the whole unit with your rev counter issues. There's usually a fair few on ebay.

As for the little bulb holders I've not seen them for sale on their own however I have a spare unit that also has one missing so another one isn't going to hurt.
