88 n/a Mk1b Alternator - 60 or 70amp?

Post by Paul Cyclops »

Camskill have two variants available, 60 or 70 amp. Does anyone know which I need? The product description on Camskill's site has both items listed as suitable for "84-90 AW11"

Irregular use over the rainy season has made my current alternator sound like a bucket of bolts being poured down a cast-iron rain-water pipe.

Thanks in advance :cyclops:

70 amp, I think the 60 was for early mk1a's. You can get it refurbed and just replace the bearings for around £30.
