[Mk2] [Turbo] 92 import driver door control

Good morning all,

Had to take my door loom out over the weekend, failed wiring in the gromit, I'm having issues getting 1 of the 2 blocks to go back into the door control. Its the one which goes in under the control for the mirrors' Feels like the block is about 3mm bigger than the socket.

It was in there before and was hard work getting it out. I think somewhere down the line the doors been replaced because the driver door opens off a different key. are UK and JDM door controls the same size plug? or do i just need to use some force with this plug?

Just had same issue.

Your trying to put it on the obvious way which us the wrong Way.
Can't think of a way to describe it.

I work out which way around it went, had another crack at finding this broken wire, found it!! :-



not sure what this wire does, fixed it and both windows roll up & down, passenger wing mirror also started working, also rear fog. I need to have a look at the other door loom, central locking still not working on that side.

all in all took about 2.5 hours, the door looms had been modded at the blocks for the alarm system & they didnt decide to use connector blocks. however there is now
