[Mk2] [NA] No power to starter / fuel pump.

Post by LukeSi »

Ok firstly I'm an idiot. While removing the loom for the audio system I got annoyed and just cut all the wires which were part of that loom.

I realised my mistake when the car wouldn't start and have fastened together the wires running to what I think is the fuel pump.

There is one wire which seems to go nowhere, its a thin blue wire with a black stripe and runs from the same connector as the thick blue wire with a blue stripe. Firstly does anyone know where this goes?

Secondly any ideas why it isn't turning over (no clicking etc from the starter).

I've got it cranking now but it isn't firing up. Don't think the fuel pump is getting any power to it.
